But Perfection is not Art.

I have the feeling that there is a whole generation of "artists" who are too afraid to create something that is not beautiful to produce real arts. Probably those people aren't real artists but just people who have a feeling for aesthetics.

If they would like to put that into a job they could do jobs like studio photographer for advertisement, product designer or architects. These are jobs where their skills are extremly necesary. But they are no artists.

I don't say that to offend them (or myself). It is not something bad if you are not an artist. It doesn't say anything about your value if you are one or if you are something else. Everyone has his or her own value - although artists tend to think of themselves as something extremly special. That is not true, they just have a different talent.

That is just something I was thinking when going through some DevArt pages. Still have to reflect it a little more.
